25,000 Steps

Day Two, what a day, over 25,000 steps in one day and we took a train and taxi to get around.
We left the hotel walked along Praia do Leblon, than Praia de Ipanema , climbed Pedra do Arpoador and finally finished  this walk on Praia de Copacabana
.
Than went to Cinelandia, and finally Lapa had some lunch than came back to the hotel rested by the pool and the beach. Off to Corcovado and to see Cristo Redentor, dinner in the area of Santa Teresa.

What a day, I will break it up in different sections.

This will be the beach posting and our walk along the beach. The beach and the area surrounding it are just lovely in every way. People of ever kind and shape.

People working hard setting up chairs and booths, moving most of this stuff by bike or pushing or pulling a cart of stuff to the beach.

Everything happens on the beach. They sell everything and do everything. Volleyball is big, people working out, small little training sections all over the place, and you can even buy a bathing suit on the beach and try it right there. Small free gyms with weights to work with are located on the beach. If you choose you can also have a personal trainer, that is big here, small little booths on the beach.

The ocean the waves the sound of the surf; surfing, people in the water, fishing, boating, again you name it, you will see it if it is a water sport on the beach here.

Enjoy the pictures they should explain themselves, I hope so.
