International Falls is a city in and the county seat of
Koochiching County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 6,424 at the
2010 census. International Falls is located on the Rainy River directly across
from Fort Frances, Ontario, Canada.
This was a very nice city, it is the gateway to Quetico
park, you have to take the bridge across to Fort Frances, ON. In fact he had a lot of nice plaques and
statues to have your picture taken. One nice thing about traveling with
somebody, they can take your picture. Since Nick was with me, I did not have to
take selfie or keep asking people. We did at time have to ask people to take a
picture of both of us but they were always happy to do it and got a ‘kick” that
we do this.
If you have to eat before going into Canada this is a must
place to eat, GREAT HOME COOKING.
It is called Sandy's Place - 1510 2nd Ave International Falls, MN 56649
Check
it out.
Check out these pictures we took at just some of the
famous places in town.
We stopped here on or way home.
A Special Plaque
Who would not want to stop for a picture here.

Yes, the famous Bronko Nagurski, he was known for his big hands and look at the statue of him.
He gave back to this community a lot .
