Twelve Hours in Rio

Well, my first 12 hours; here are my thoughts at large no order just random ( what other way would it be  but random):

·         Rio loves dogs lots of them

·         Flip phones are in lots of that style here people have

·         Motorcycles everywhere

·         Lots of buses

·         Bikes of all kinds

·         Lots of action on the street

·         Love the small businesses

·         Lots of bars and restaurants all with people having fun

·         Construction everywhere for the Olympics ( will the big hole for the Metro be done in time)

·         Beaches, beaches, beaches, water and the ocean

·         Graffiti like any big city

·         In some parts looks like Detroit or any other big city; slums and the poor

·         Friendly people, very much so

·         Lots of street vendors

·         Streets at  night still packed with activity

·         People love to fish and those famous flip flops are everywhere

       Oh and those balls on the corners I keep hitting them,ouch !!!!

·         Felt safe with Peter walking the streets till about 1030 pm tonight
